Georgia Bulldogs seamlessly to your own coverage?

I bought the Georgia Bulldogs No-Sew Blanket to my father for Christmas. I started some time ago, and there is a red sign there and I do not know what it is. It is the same size as the fringes printed fabric. I bought it at Walmart in the crafts section and all it is is a solid red panel. Please help me!
